Options exist for a short (3 days) or longer itinerary, both covering similar regions and ensuring an enriching trekking experience near Kathmandu.
DAY 1: Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani (approx. 4–5 hours; 2300m elevation).
DAY 2: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (approx. 6–7 hours; 2100m elevation) through dense forests and traditional villages.
DAY 3: Trek down to Changu Narayan Temple, then drive to Bhaktapur for a 1-hour cultural tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square before returning to Kathmandu.
DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
DAY 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (approx. 1-hour), then trek to Chisapani (2135 m) for about 4–5 hours through beautiful forest trails and villages.
DAY 3: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (2155 m), a 6–7 hours hike offering breathtaking Himalayan views.
